Many women in the sector of Busengo find themselves in particularly difficult socio-economic situations as they have been abandoned with small children. Having to singlehandedly take care of young children while also ensuring sufficient daily income to provide adequate accomodation, food, clothing and schooling is challenging.

The House of Good Will provides a safe place for vulnerable women to get back on their feet and a place where they will be given the necessary training and support to be able to start an income generating activity that can sustain themselves and their children (tailoring or butchering programme, possibly other in the future).
